These tail lights illuminate using light emitting diodes which are 10 times brighter and last up to 80 times longer than a conventional bulb. Recon smoked black LED lights meet DOT/SAE standards and look great on your vehicle.
All Recon smoked black LED tail lights are direct plug-n-play replacements, so installation is easy, needing only a Phillips screwdriver. They are available for almost any full size Ford, Dodge, Chevy, or GMC truck or SUV. These taillights are also available with Organic LED lights. OLED lights are the newest technology in the automotive lighting industry. These taillights are waterproof and nearly indestructible.

The 2007 and newer Dodge Ram trucks require additional wiring to be fully functional. A ready to install wire harness is available from your local Dodge dealer to speed up the installation. Please see the attached installation guide below
The 2008 Ford Super Duty trucks feature a slightly smaller reverse light socket that doesn't tighten securely in the Recon lights. Users can either purchase a light socket and wiring from a 99-07 Super Duty and install for a proper fit, or secure the 08 factory socket with Silicon. Applying a thin coating of silicon to the 08 socket will secure it in the taillight to prevent it from rattling or vibrating loose.
