Ease of Installation
This product only took about an hour to install straight from the box. You may want to have a hand to hold up the bar when installing the new bolts the kit came with as you could scratch the bars with the painted finish if you don't buy the chrome ones for the extra money. I personally liked the look of the black ones which can scratch if your not careful. One thing I noticed is that the bars were labeled for the drivers and passenger side, however, the labeling was wrong and the bars went on the opposite side of the truck than what the label stated. Someone at the factory may have had a rough night. The bars fit perfectly on our 1997 dodge ram with no problems along the way, besides having to remove a bolt when we realized the bar was on the wrong side if the truck. About a 2 minute delay as we had not torqued the bolt down until the bar was in the correct position. Make sure you have a 7/16 inch drill bit for steel to put on the stabilizer brackets as there is not a bit in the box. You only need to drill 2 holes, one on each side to install the small bracket, and we had that bit on hand. Very easy real truck! Thank you.
