    Description

Getting that original equipment (OE) look can be tough sometimes, but it can be done. One of the best ways to do it is with Westin Molded Black Running Boards. Made from one solid ultra violet resistant molded polymer, these side step boards are made specifically to give you the step up you need to get in and out of your truck or SUV.

The shell is made from the molded polymer, but the base is all aluminum, that means you get a solid and firm construction that can handle your weight and your passenger's weight when getting in and out of your truck cab. The channeled design of the side step board is something Westin is known for. This unique construction is corrosion resistant and keeps water, ice, and mud from getting clogged in your running board.

There's nothing like these running boards to make your ride look and function even better.

    Order Notes

I installed the running boards by myself in about one hour. Installer on a 2013 chevy Silverado. I am well pleased with the product.

Installed the steps/running boards two weeks ago. Would say it took about two hours from start to finish to swap out the old OEM steps with the new ones. Opted for the version with lights, the only thing I didn't like was how they had the light per-installed in the steps. The instructions say to use the step with the longer lead on the passenger side. For my truck that wouldn't work because that would have put the lead behind the cab with no cross member to attach to. With the muffler & drive-shaft are in that area, felt it was wise to swap sides on the steps so that I was able to use the transmission cross-member to hold/attach the wiring lead. Other than installing 'em "backwards" everything went well and pleased with them so far. The OEM lasted 10 years and they were 100% plastic...hopefully these will be on the truck three times longer.
