Gave 4 stars instead of 5 because the kit should come with better clamps verses the hammer on style

received these leaf springs with some minor dings! very dissapointed how they were delivered poorly...now for the install...dont hesitate to use vice grips and c-clamps....very dangerous if you do it by yourself folks...have a buddy by your side to spot check while putting these on...elevated the truck about 0.5inch from old specs of 39 1/2 in fender height in rear with my 2in blocks..currently on 4 leafs now...take your time and be aware to tighten your clamps while holding these down...as for the extra pin clip on the 3rd stock leaf for alignment of the leafs...i improvised and cut a hole through the new leaf so i dont need to remove that pin from the 3rd leaf...

These Springs are seriously heavy Duty and come with 5 leaves that are all a little thicker than the 4 leaf stock spring leaves, so expect a hard ride. I removed the 3rd leaves and the ride is much improved with hardly any change in the ride height, if you wanted less lift and a stock type ride, I would remove the 2nd leaves. If you want to carry half a ton in the back all the time these springs would be perfect as they come, I like that the leaf retainers have bolts, which makes adding or removing leaves a breeze. My only complaint is that there are no instructions, U bolts or wedges in this package, despite 2 sets of U bolts appearing in the picture, the bushings were shipped separately, so this is far from a complete kit. your stock U bolts will not be long enough, so obtain longer ones and wedges before attempting to fit these springs. 5% works for all 5 leaves, 3% worked without 3rd leaves. Don't worry if you cant find these angles, just get the nearest higher degree and grind it down. Also the poly bushings require a special grease between the inside of the bushing and the pin (these are floating bushings unlike the rubber stock type that don't need lube). This grease is called Polylube and can be found online or at some bike shops. you cannot get it at car parts stores. Apparently using regular petroleum grease can damage these bushings. So in summary, this is definately not a easy kit for dummies, if not for my decades of experience, which compelled me to do my homework, I would have completely ****** up this installation. So get your local 4 wheel shop to install them if you are not sure, and get some polylube, cause they may not know about that either. However These are quality springs and well worth the money.
