    History of RealTruck

    RealTruck Begins
    RealTruck begins – 1998

    RealTruck began business in October of 1998. The business was initially a manufacturer’s representation firm designed to establish dealers for Aftermarket Accessory Manufacturers. In November of 1999, RealTruck began operating the e-commerce website www.realtruck.com. Our humble beginnings start in a basement of a duplex in Spokane, WA. The sole purpose was to sell automotive accessories online throughout the United States and Canada.. It seems odd to say now, but this was a somewhat radical concept back in “99″. The Vehicle Accessory business had always been dominated by the traditional “brick and mortar” establishments. Everyone told us that consumers would not be willing to purchase accessories for their Truck, Car or SUV over the Internet without being able to touch or see their prospective products. However, our vision was that the Internet was going to continue to grow in effectiveness and be a prominent tool for the future of Vehicle Accessories sales.

    In May of 2000 the business was relocated to Jamestown, ND. This was brought about by several factors including, the owner, Scott Bintz wanting to be closer to his family and his endless obsession with Snow. Jamestown fit both criteria. The business has continued to flourish over the years going through many different levels of growth, focus and strategy. But our commitment to our consumers, our employees and our business partners has never changed. We continue to utilize that same vision and forward thinking that we did in a basement in Spokane Washington, to keep our company on the cutting edge of technology. This attitude continues to improve our business efficiently and ultimately our consumers shopping experience.
