Gravity appears to be taking a break in this neighborhood.
The video quality on our first Tire Fire contestant (vote for your favorite at the bottom of this page) isn’t great, but the action is pretty awesome. We’re pretty certain OSHA has restrictions against the methods this operator is using to load his Bobcat onto the truck.
Our theory? He’s just plain lazy and didn’t want to get out of the cab and set up the ramp. But in all honesty, he gets major points from us for creativity and execution. Read the rest of this entry »

George's 2010 Toyota Tacoma
It’s a symbiotic relationship when you think about it. We like to sell awesome truck accessories to our customers (shipped free, of course) and they like to upgrade their rides. We absolutely love it when they send us photos of the fruits of their labor.
Check out George F’s 2010 Toyota Tacoma. He says it’s a work in progress, but we’re already liking the results. Read the rest of this entry »

Ah… can you smell the exhaust? Hear the engines? Feel the rumble? That was your stomach? Sorry, my bad.

In 1971, Chevy’s truck campaign chose to speak to the financial side of argument when it came to purchasing a truck. They called their vehicle the “Inflation Fighter.” Very apropos at the time and an interesting snapshot of how things were during the Nixon era.
The breaking of the Watergate scandal was just on the horizon, cigarrette ads were no longer allowed on TV, the cost of a stamp was 8 cents, Love Story was a hit in the theaters and Ike and Tina Turner were burning it up on the air waves. I can almost hear ‘Proud Mary’ coming from that truck’s stereo system!
What do you remember about the early 70′s?

Kayleen chillin' next to her new parking space.
We’re having a baby!
That’s probably stretching the truth a little. Our Accounting Manager, Kayleen, is pregnant. With TWINS! We’re pretty excited. In fact, we’re so excited that a couple of our team members decided to install the first ever “Reserved for Expectant Mother” parking space in our lot.
Kayleen was surprised and pleased! “Am I waddling already!?!” She exclaimed, “It says a lot about a company that creates a parking spot for an expectant employee.” Read the rest of this entry »

Jordan Buermann, also known as J-swiss, newly hired at RealTruck.com!
We’re proud, honored, and a little choked up (to be honest with you) to welcome Jordan Buermann to the RealTruck clan! Jordan is official titled as Web Developer I, but we started referring to him as J-man, J-diddy, J-dog and J-dizzle.
Surprisingly, he doesn’t respond to any of these monikers. No worries! Working at RealTruck takes some getting used to and we’re sure J-woo will soon get the hang of it all.
Here’s a little bit about J-biz from the man himself: Read the rest of this entry »

Monica Nuchols helped catch a purse snatcher and saved a Grandmother's bad day!
The most notable superheros are normally dudes. Think of your favorites. Batman, Superman, Spiderman… their names all end in ‘man.’
RealTruck is cutting edge and always ready to report new developments when it comes to REAL life super heroes. When this story came down the wire we moved it to the top of the pile for the Keepin’ it Real feature. This is the story of a ‘woman’ who saved the day!
“You just don’t take from people.” Is what Monica Nuchols said after she helped corner, capture and hold a purse snatcher for the police. She did it with the help of a friend of hers while shopping at a Publix in North Fort Myers.
