Tailgate cap did not match same material used for bed caps. They are not adequate finish, cut is very sharp and i would not recommend to a person with young children.

This is not the tailgate protector I had in mind,
I was assuming it would be over the outside edge but this one is on the inside.

My experience with stainless steel tailgate caps has always been to take the plastic one off, then install the stainless one. Had I known this thing just stuck ( very poorly I may add )on top of the plastic tailgate cap, I never would have purchased it.
