Extra Wide Fender Flares

Proper tire coverage is essential when building a modified vehicle, whether a dedicated wheeler or a stylish daily driver. While low-offset wheels and oversized tires are a popular modification, this combo can wreak havoc on your vehicle’s paint and rocker panels, flinging road grime and chip-inducing pebbles into the body. Additionally, low-offset wheels and oversized tires can attract law enforcement, leading to pricey tickets for breaking tire coverage laws and regulations!

Extra Wide Fender Flares are the ideal solution, providing greater tire coverage than conventional fender flares to guard your vehicle’s body and meet local regulations. Not to mention, extra wide fender flares provide a unique, rugged aesthetic!

At RealTruck, we offer a wide selection of extra wide fender flares to protect your ride's paint and enhance styling. These flares are ideal for use on lifted applications; pair them with premium mud flaps for unparalleled exterior protection!

Fender Flare Options

Fender flares come in several configurations depending on the brand and model; however, most feature durable composite construction, sleek matte-black finish, and DIY-friendly bolt-on installation.

Material

There are a few materials commonly employed in fender flare manufacturing, including:

  • ABS Thermoplastic: A flexible yet sturdy plastic material commonly used in automotive applications. This material offers exceptional flexibility, allowing it to deflect impacts and abrasions without cracking.

  • Injection-Molded Polypropylene: Polypropylene is another commonly used automotive-grade plastic, offering exceptional strength and durability. While not as sturdy as ABS in most conditions, polypropylene offers superior heat resistance.

  • High-Impact Acrylic: This rigid and durable material is commonly used on bug guards and side window deflectors.

All materials are sturdy, UV-resistant, and relatively inexpensive, ideal for fender flare manufacturing.

Finish

Fender flares typically come in two finishes: a factory-inspired textured black finish, seamlessly blending with your vehicle’s existing plastic trim, or a smooth finish, ideal for painting and color-matching.

Contents (Pair vs. Set)

Fender flares can come in pairs or sets, depending on the manufacturer, model, and selected options. In some applications, a pair of flares may be preferred to counteract a track width variance between the front and rear axles, while full fender flare sets offer uniform protection at all four wheels.
