If they had put the little windows in the front about 4" higher you could open the hood without having to unsnap the top.
I ordered this item a few weeks before christmas as a gift, however it arrived after new years. No problems or complaints with the product.
This is my 5th Fia Grille Cover, the previous 4 were on Super Duty's. They fit perfect, but the fit on my Titan was to say the least a bit odd. The location of the snaps causes the cover to fit sloppy over the grille and the winter cover snaps are not lined up with the bug screen. We are talking about 1/32 of an inch. I have made them fit, but this is a first for me with Fia. Regarding Real Truck, I had shopped with them for a long time, but they dropped the ball on this order. Instead of receiving the order with in 3 weeks time, it was closer to 6 weeks. They said it had to with manufacturing time, but when I said to cancel this order, they seem to find this cover the next day.
So the cover was an odd fit. And Real Truck lost a customer.
It's sure made a big difference on my '98 Dodge 12-valve; much better warm-up and heater function. The only 'gripe' I have is that, after using the bug screen as a template, 2 of the mounting holes were off a tad. Not a big deal; minor issue.
Installed easy. Was very careful with the stick on snaps. Worked well for over a week through a lot of driving. Then it rained and fell off in the driveway. Now I will put on real snaps and get another grill for summer
What a difference. Heat is good after only several miles.
I installed as directed using the tape held snaps. I made sure the grill was prepped as directed and used a blow dryer to install. The taped on snaps started coming loose after the first car wash. I would suggest Fia come up with another design to install using straps and hooke. Not many people want to drill hole in a $1000 grill assembly to get a secure hold.
Works good the stick on snaps don't hold very well in the COLD
Adhesive snaps are not the greatest
