Quickly shipped and very easy to install. This tailgate is very rugged compared to the plastic & aluminum ones. Standing on this one or setting a generator on it is no problem. Allows hitching the 5er without lowering the tailgate.

product looks good and works well. tailgate can be secured from theft with one or two padlocks on the two latches. simple design issue to figure out a way to lock this tailgate. don't know why the factory has not done this. the shipping box was badly damaged on one side, but luckily the tailgate was not damaged. it takes a lot of faith, these days, to ship something in only the box it comes in from the manufacturer. product shipped quickly and i was kept me informed every step of the way by email. best price i could find online. -nice job Realtruck.

Received the tailgate in a timely manner. It arrived with minor damage which required modification. The tailgate fit is mediocre and required modification in both latches and hinges. The spring latches do not match up to the original pickup latch rings. Upon closing, the tailgate requires lifting up on the passenger's side for the latch to spring in to the original pickup ring. Original tailgate hinges were unusable and required making new hinges constucted from sheathed aircraft cable. RealTruck service is competent.
