Description

Go Industries Rancher Rugged Step running boards for full-size pickup trucks features a tough, commercial grade steel grate design. This heavy-duty running board works great whether you are a daily driver or use them on a commercial work truck.

With today's big trucks gaining more and more ground clearance, the Rancher Rugged Step will provide a wide, heavy-duty, secure step to access the cab. The big 8.25" wide step makes for a sure footed entry. Constructed with 2" round tube and 2" 10 gauge steel runners this running board offers a trouble free step.

The Rancher Rugged Steps are zinc plated and then powder coated with a glossy black finish for rust free protection. As an added feature, the steel grate running board design acts as a mud scraper to remove mud and other debris from your boot before stepping into your truck.

For heavy duty, black running boards for a truck, look no further. High strength steel brackets are pickup specific for an easy attachment with a no drill bolt on design. Made by Go Industries.

The running boards are well constructed and provided the overall look and utility I expected. Unfortunately there were a few issues to overcome to get these installed. The initial shipment did not include all the hardware from the manufacturer necessary to complete the install. In addition, due to manufacturing differences the mounting brackets did not secure with the included bolts. Real Truck customer service was good and provided direct contact with the manufacturer. The manufacturer did listen to my concerns and shipped out the missing hardware which I received about a week later. I did need to send them pictures of the issue so they could understand the mounting issue I was facing with my truck's design. I needed to buy the revised bolt sizes to secure these to my 2008 Toyota Tundra. The manufacturer did not carry these parts and with a two to three week shipment window I decided to purchase myself. Ultimately after a few trips to the hardware store I have the boards installed and they look great. Hopefully they will last the life of the truck. P.S. The instructions are worthless so you are better off not even looking at them.

Ordered running boards, when delivered, the parts were there but no running boards. Called Realtruck and they contacted the manufacturer and had the running boards there ASAP, then I was missing the 8mm bolts, again Realtruck was on it and had the missing parts delivered ASAP. Great folks who work hard to make things right. They truly earn a customers business. Hard to find this type of customer service over the internet. They rock!

These running boards are great and fit the truck well. Due to the way they mount, I would definitely order the extra set of brackets on the Tundra. There was a little more twist than I desired so I put the extra set of brackets on. Mounting was easy and I was done in an hour. Just a note, truck to bracket mounts are not included which is why I give this a 4 star rating.

Great product!!!! Instructions were a little vague but I figured it out. First board took longer than the second one. Many positive comments and I like the design that doesn't clog up with snow and mud!!!. Definately would recommend and buy again!!!!

I like the running boards because they are wider than most. I purchased these for my father's truck. He is elderly and needs a sturdy running board. I like the fact that the mud will fall through the slots. We did put the tape for traction - I did not like the round bar on the outside due to the fact his foot could slip off. My husband installed these for him. (a little trouble getting in the bolt-yes the slot is adjustable, but the bolt goes all the way to oneside of the slot) We looked at a lot of running boards - but decided on these because of the strength and durability. My father is well pleased with these. He can now get in and out easier. Yes, I would recommend these.

I love the running boards. I think they look good and are very sturdy. My only complaint is that they didn't just bolt on like they were suppose to. I took them down to my local mechanic to have them installed. They had to do some fabrication to move the emergency brake out of the way. I don't know if they sent me the wrong mounting brackets. Anyway it ended up costing me quite a bit of money to have them installed. That's why I gave them only 4 stars. I have a 2005 chevy crew cab 4x4.

This step is a really rugged item and looks good on the truck. The only thing i don't like is how the step attaches to the bracket. The clip is in a place where one might step to get in the truck. Overall, a good product.
