Lund Running Boards include the Lund StepRail Ellipitcal Running Boards for Pickups and SUV's. The Lund elliptical aluminum side entry step rails are running boards constructed of durable aluminum that will not rust or corrode. These elliptical running boards, called step rails have thick, non-slip step treads for easy entry into your pickup truck or suv. The steprails running boards have adjustable end caps that allow boards adjustment for a custom fit appearance. Available in black or brite finish. They have a heavy duty, rugged tubular running board appearance. Designed to mount using the Lund OE style mounting Kit, which sold separately. Modernize your ride with Lund steprail running boards.  TO PUT THE STEP PADS ON THERE WERE DRIVE RIVERTS AND THEY WERE HARD TO USE SO I DRILL AND TAP FOR 1/24 BOLTS.

 I think your photo(s) of the steps needs to be corrected on the web site. The step ends are curved into the truck body in one picture and only partially curves in the other picture. Partial curve photo is correct. However, that's not what your rep. said when I called to ask for confirmation. My second concern is that the istallation instructions are very poor. More pictures and verbage is needed on the orientation of parts and hole drilling for step pads and end caps. The same hold true on bracket installation.

 I would like to say those "90"rails fit perfect.I used the bracket kit first sent without drilling at all.On my 2009 Dodge 1500.4 full size doors.These rails fit on those bracket just right.Just so you know this truck did have predrilled holes already there.The 90 in. rails came just over the brackets like they should have to start with.This truck should not take the 69''rails like what was first sent to me and it cost me $92.00 to ship them back and it was factory mistake to start with.I should be refunded that money since it was there mistake to start with.I have seen several trucks like mine in our area and they have rails just like these and I hope they all didn't have to send theres back too.The Order Dept. stunk.

 Steps are really to install, especially if you get the Lund No Drill brackets that are recommended. Only issue was putting on the no slip treds - they are held on with rivets and the instructions require you to drill holes then hammer in the rivets - It may be easier with a rivet gun. The rivets are finished in black and when you hammer them in the paint chipped - now I have several bright Aluminum rivets in black no slip treds. Plus, hammering in some of the rivets requires you to get really close to the truck - If you use a hammer, I recommend finding a suitable extension so you are swinging the hammer out of harms way.
overall it was pretty easy - my 10 year old helped out and once we got one side on, he basically did the other by himself.

 I really enjoyed the fact that the footpads can be placed where you want them,(not pre-attached by the manufacturer). In our application, the standard positioning would have been all wrong.

 These are not elliptical tubes - only half of an elliptical tube but from above, appears as a tube. Lund had zero packing material in the shipping box and the long half tubes were scratched down to bare aluminum on the tops from sliding around during the normal shipping process. I sent them back for a refund. The people I dealt with at RealTruck were very nice to work with and totally understood the problem without any hassle about returning this product.

 Fast Shipping, great service, step rails look great. Don't try to pay with Paypal because the system weirded out and I had to call and pay with credit card.
