Designed for pickup trucks with toppers, hard tonneau cover lids, canopies, tops, camper shells or other hard bed covers. The base of this industrial strength rack is our time tested Lo-Pro tracks. The contoured high impact resistant ABS feet were designed using engineering principles providing the best in form and function. The load bars utilize our proven profile and are extruded from Aluminum 6063 alloy giving strength and rigidity in a light-weight package. This rack is perfect for carrying large bulky loads such as ladders, lumber, plywood, and other large construction items. Not only is it functional for work applications, but also it is functional at play. I am very happy with this purchase. The rack is heavy duty and well built. I loaded a 40 foot ladder, it handled it with ease. I like the way if makes my cap look. Removing the bars is a pain, I took back a star for that.

This rack is just what I expected. It has yet to see its first use as far as hauling something but the installation went well. Be sure to read and follow the directions. Otherwise you will be doing things more than once. Be sure to prepare enough room for assembly on a flat surface. Positioning and drilling holes for the rack bolts went smoother than anticipated. The rack appears to be secure and firm on the topper. Time will tell but this is definitely a good option when looking for a topper rack.

Fast accurate shipment , rack was excellent value for money.
Easy install with just couple "fiddly" bits with brackets to rails - not huge issue.
Strong and does job well.
Only complaint cross bars are wide and strong - my malone kayak carrier will need slightly bigger brackets to fit these awesome bars !
Well worth the investment.

I installed the rack today. It went on my fiberglass topper with ease. I do have some reservations about the spring steel fastening clip and weather or not it will hold up to water and time. Since this small part is the heart of the rack I will be checking it often. One item that you may want to mention in your instructions is that stainless steel bolts may gall or freeze. A small amount of lube is a plus if using a machine to assemble rather than by hand.

I'm using the rack on a homebuilt camping trailer. So far I've only installed and removed it for painting. The product seems well made and strong. Since this is a custom install I had to use different screws than were supplied, not their fault.
Packaging and deliver from Realtruck was excellent. I'll buy from them any time they have a product I need.

Reasonably priced, shipped fast, easy install, and looks great on my truck. The only thing that concerns me are metal U clips which the towers and cross bars are anchored to the rack with. Not sure how many tightening and loosening cycles they will tolerate. Otherwise, the system has been great!

I like everything about this rack - except two one things. I wish they would have ran a bolt for the actual rack part right through the roof. I say that because I have two Kayaks that I mount with J-hooks, and they have an incredible up draft, thus pulling up on the rack. This rack will take a strong downward weight, but I just don't trust the design of one washer from keeping my kayaks from flying off into the highway (like with my older rack (a nightmare)). I'm probably going to buy a bolt and modify it to make the bolt go through the roof of my topper to make it stronger.
The second thing I would do is go with all aluminum parts. They used a sturdy plastic part between the rail and the rack. I thought I saw at Prorac they had one with all metal version, but I couldn't find it anywhere to purchase. . .perhaps coming down the road.
All in all, I would recommend it. For the money, it's the best rack I could fine.
