DescriptionRecon LED running lights are a great way to snag more attention and to be safer, either on the road or in a parking lot. These lights are called Big Rig by Recon since they run along the side of your truck's cab, just like the lights on a big rig.
The standard Big Rig running lights have 2 amber light bars that serve as running lights while your headlights are on and they also blink when activate your turn signal. Recon Lights also offers the Big Rig ICE running lights. THis kit has all the same features as the regular Big Rig kit with the added bonus of white LED courtesy lights! The ICE lights are activated whenever a door is opened or closed. Recon added this feature since they know how important safety is.
Recon makes the Big Rig running lights in 2 sizes to fit virtually any truck on the road. Recon has also gotten the approval of the NHTSA, making these running lights street legal in all 50 states.
These running lights come with easy do it yourself wiring instructions that any novice can follow, making them a perfect Saturday afternoon project. Installation
Each Recon Big Rig LED running light kit comes complete with all necessary mounting hardware for simple installation. Simple hand tools are all that’s required for installation.

AWESOME product. I have a 2003 3/4 quad cab Dodge...totally dressed out [lighted bed rails, decals, ect]. So, now the added lighted running bars and front bumper lights really dress up my truck. People are actually stopping me and asking where I got my lighted bars from. I am a truck driver and I have always liked a lot of lights on my rigs; large and small.
The shipping time was very fast; within days. Easy to assemble. Very happy with company. Plan on ordering from them again for any future trucks I may own...big or small. Marilyn B.

overall the lights are 5 out of 5 for the avg. person... For me I kindof thought they would be alittle brighter. During the day the light don't stand out like my 4inch LEDs , but I really like how they turn white when you open the door.... I haven't had them to long to see how well they will hold up to roadsalt, but seems like everything work out... I wish my dome light wire was easier to get to in my truck, i ended up running a wire all the way up to the rearview mirror area to get power, i couldn't get (domelite) power from the main switch like the older trucks.....

I've had the lights for around 2 months now, they're still all functioning and they look great! The only minor complaint I have is the fact that they're not nearly as bright as the ad made them seem. They are still very noticable in the dark,don't get me wrong, but they're not as bright as I expected. I was also a little disappointed that installation required drilling holes in the body of my truck, but all in all it was worth it and I'd definitely recommend this product. It adds visibility and makes the truck look real sharp.

I had been looking for a set of lights to mount under my doors so that I had lighting for the step side bars that I had mounted on my truck. Although the lights that I purchased had others options included I choose to use the courtesy lights only due to law requirements. I had the white lights wired through my dome light so that the courtesy lights only come on and off when I open and close the doors. I am very pleased with the product and would recommend it to anyone.

I put these on a 2004 Toyota Tacoma. I had to do a little customizing to the brackets, but they look great.

Wiring directions are not that helpful when looking for the right one on your truck, not as nice as I thought they would be.

Everything was very easy to do but the white leds that hook up to the dome light still can not find a way to hook them up to the dome light on a 1998 dodge 2500 and no one can give me away to do it.
