I've hasitated to write a review since the item (3" Nerf Bars) were designed for a four (4) door extended cab and not for a three (3) door as ordered. Since they would fit, and after all, my truck is a 1998, I decided to use them anyway.....

Item arrived in excellent condition. Installation is pretty easy, but do take your time and layout all of the parts before hand. One thing of note is the special requirement for the Toyota 2012 Highlander, which is what I have. In the instructions it says that you have to add a spacer (which is provided) for the rear bracket if you have the 2011 Highlander. If you do that you would find that the bar after installed is barely touching (with vibration during driving, it would be touching) the bottom of the rear door. Thus what you need is an additional spacer, just like the one that is provided in the package. What I did is go to HomeDepot and go to the lumber department. There they have exactly what I needed. It's a metal spacer, around 1/2 inch in height and 3.5inch on each side. It even have the hole in the middle so the screws for the rear fit inside of it perfectly, no drilling required. I installed that along with the spacer provided and voila, everything is perfect.
The bar looks really nice. It really complements the chrome on the Toyota Highlander Limited.

Great nerf bars. 4 out of 5 stars due to a dent in the passenger side nerf bar upon arrival. However, Real Truck had the bars picked up by UPS and new bars shipped in no time. Very happy about the efficiency of Real truck in handling the return and shipping out new bars. I did have a slight issue with the center bracket lining up, I made a few adjustments and they seem to fit great. Good look to the truck at a great price. I plan to buy from these guys again!

I gave these to my husband for Christmas. When he opened them there was no mounting brackets in the package. I called and the brackets were sent, they arrived a week later. My husband works off so the nerf bars are still in the box on my bedroom floor. I'm not very happy over the situation. Probably will not order from RealTruck again!

I am very happy with my nerf bars, my wife needed a step to get in and out of our Tundra, and these do the trick. Installation was a breeze, no drilling at all, just bolt them on. They look great, and a real value too!
