Description

The Towtector Premium brushstrip mud flaps is a must have protector when you are towing boats, campers, or other trailers. Providing you with the ultimate protection against flying rocks and other road debris the Towtector brushstrip towing mud flap has you covered. This towing mud flap features a double layer of brush strips that cover the entire width of your tow vehicle, giving you complete protection from every angle.

The Towtector premium towing mud flaps also offers a patented support bar that keeps the brushes in place. Unlike traditional rubber mud flaps, the Towtector premium brushstrip shield will not flap in the wind at highway speeds, ensuring you have the most effective protection when you need it most.

The frame of the Towtector rock guard is constructed of heavy duty 1½" square tubing with a black powder coat finish. Available in a 70" wide model for most compact towing vehicles, 78" wide model to fit most full size tow vehicles as well as a 96" model to fit dually pickups, campers and RV's. The TowTector mud flap is available with different length brushes to allow for proper fit on all vehicles.

The Towtector offers easy mounting by sliding onto the vehicle's ball mount or tow bar and can be installed or removed in a few seconds. It also allows electrical hookups to slide through the brushes for easy wire connections. Choosing the Towtecor premium brushstip mud flaps will ensure your travel trailer, camper or boat will remain free of rock chips for a long time.

The Towtector was designed to fit a factory style receiver hitch. The use of a load leveling hitch may interfere with the Towtector installation.

Unless you need a ball hitch when the mud flaps are installed, I highly recomment the Shin Saver. I mounted the mud flaps and Shin Saver on my F350 truck which I use to pull a 5th wheel trailer. I'm sure the Shin Saver has saved some my shins some bumps and scrapes.

The Tow Tector Shield Mud Flaps are made of high quality materials. It was very easy to assemble with simple hand tools. The fit is excellent. Be careful if your exhaust exits to the rear of the vehicle as the heat will melt the brush (the instructions discuss this potential problem) but the web site does not make this potential problem clear.

I wanted to wait to write the reveiw until after I used the tow tector. all I can say is wow it is great we towed our caravan behind our motorhome and it protected it all 4400 miles in all kinds of weather. The service and product is high quality from Real Truck Thanks

Just mounted the towinbg protector 3/9/11. Mounted easy, just different then I pictured. Had to put it actually on the Trailers hitch. When connected to truck only 1/2 in. away from bumper. looks good, the only thing is that I have to cut out two spots one ea. side where my dual exhaust (factoiry) comes to apprx. 3-4 in. away from brushes. You can see where they are melting a little, which I suspected I would have to do anyways. But, all in all, very nice looking, well built, easy assembly and MADE IN AMERICA. Will submit another later after my first trip here inMmay-June. Curt C. , PA

Good product. Make sure you note the size of the receiver hitch tube when ordering. I didn't and had to return the one shipped in exchange for the larger one.

This is a good product it works well. One thing that I found out the hard way is that if you have a GM Duramax truck you need a heat guard to keep the brushes from burning up from the hot exhaust. RealTruck does not have them. I made one myself with a some sheet metal, a piece of 1/4 " plywood and 3 bolts. It works well and can not be seen from the back.

Shinsaver was material thickness too large for any of my 2 inch receivers. Upon notification a replacement part was send and works perfectly. Replacement service was excellent.
