Ease of Installation
This MFG Billet Locking Fuel Door was easy to install and is a good fit. Looks great and does what I want it to and that is, to lock up the gas in my 38 gallon tank. Only beef with the product/install was that the two small 8-32 bolts/studs were slightly bent, in opposite directions, as opposed to being at a perfect 90° angle to the unit. If they had been bent any further apart (out into an almost \/ type of fashion) this wouldn't have fit my truck correctly. I suspect though that this is a rare case and in most instances you will receive a perfectly good Locking Fuel Door with the small 8-32 bolts/studs straight, as they should be. But I was able to fit these two small 8-32 bolts/studs into the two correct holes on the left side of the door opening without any problem. Again, I suspect this was probably a rare case and most of these units come through with the 8-32 bolts/studs straight, as they should be. All in all, despite that small glitch, I'm happy with this item. It works great. Looks great. And does what it is supposed to do ... guard my expensive gas. And I could/should mention that RealTruck.com is where I go first for any and all parts for my 2010 F-250 Super Duty pickup.
