|I called Gibson to get the proper exhaust system number for my truck. Customer service at Gibson was awesome and they seem to really know their stuff and how it pairs with other mods. Once it can time for installation, the instructions were straight forward... some one needs to make a better way for removing factory exhaust without cutting the pipes. We had all the parts we needed, to loose fit the exhaust. When it came time to tighten the fittings, the instructions didn't indicate the proper tools. I tried a ratchet, cordless impact driver and an air ratchet... not the right tools for the job and Gibson customer service is closed on the weekends. Poor choice by Gibson, they should have at least Saturday hours for the shade tree mechanics of the world. It took an air impact to get everything tight, but I was concerned I was going to strip out the hardware. After getting everything installed and the mess cleaned up, it was time for the moment of truth. There was a deep roar from the exhaust as the truck starred, good tone at idle, and an agressive tone through acceleration. Couldn't be happier with the sound and additional performance. This system is much better then a lot of systems that only increase the volume of the factory sound.|
