|I got this for a 2015 F150. THe truck has factory installed studs, and the brackets that come with the boards fit these studs. All this is very strong and well done, specific to this truck. However, i discovered a problem with the threads on several of the bolts and nuts that came with the boards. For the bolts, not much of an issue since if it jams just spend a quarter and buy another one, or get one sent. But ,the nut is a different story. If you try to screw a nut with bad or wrong threads on the factory installed studs you are liable to mess up the stud and be in deep you know what. So, clean all the paint and dirt off the Ford studs, and test each nut carefully to be sure it fits. If it starts jamming, do not keep on with it, get another nut. Nut jamming on a loose bolt can be fixed easily, but nut jammng on the ford stud must be avoided. Real Truck and Patriot were excellent about all this, and it may be that i got the only nuts and bolts that were defective (several of each out of about 24). Having said all that, I like the produce very much, glad i got them, and installation is easy if all the nuts and bolts work as they should.|
