Mounting Suggestions: The 10" or 20" are ideal for mounting behind the grille, above or below the bumper. The 10" can also be mounted behind a bumper insert if your truck has one. The 50" is ideal for the roof of a Jeep Wrangler. The 60" are ideal for the roof top of a full size pickup truck. The curved 40" is also sweet on top of the bumper. For behind the grille, most grille can go up to a 40" light bar.
Putco Luminix LED light bars are the ideal off-road / driving lights. The LED Lights are built with powerful 3 watt Nichia LEDs.
These LED light bars by Putco are 300% smaller than most LED light bars, but even more powerful with 3 watt / 0.25 amp power draw from each Nichia LED along with 50,000 hours of life. Putco Luminix LED lights comes with a wiring and are designed to work with 12V-36v without any modification.
Each Luminix LED light bar includes a thermal control chip for over/under voltage protection and is rated to work from minus -100°F to 180°F. Available in straight or the unique radius light bars designed for applications such as on top of your factory bumper.
Mount these LED lights just about anywhere on your truck or SUV, from on the factory bumper, to the roof top, behind the grille, under the bumper, with a billet grill insert and more. Each light bar includes adjustable mounting brackets and made in a 6000 series aluminum housing with a matte black (flat black) finish. What is the difference between driving lights, spot lights, fog lights, and flood lights?
Often referred to as fog lights, driving lights have a beam that is able to travel a longer distance, but not as wide. Driving lights perform best when used to supplement your high-beams. Or they may be aimed lower and supplement your low-beams.
Spot / Off-Road Lights
Spot lights are strictly for off-road usage due to their powerful, tight beam. Using an array of spot lights will offer more coverage by aiming them at slightly different angles.
Fog lights are generally mounted low on the vehicle such as the bumper or bumper grille. The light pattern is very wide, with a flat horizontal cutoff. When properly aimed, fog lights are the perfect complement to your low-beams. This is by far the most popular beam pattern and are installed on many vehicles from the factory - though there's always room for improvement by upgrading your existing fog lights.
Flood lights have a beam pattern that may be similar in width to a fog light, but the beam does not have a horizontal cutoff. Therefore they are also for off-road use only. As with spot lights, a mounting location high on the vehicle is ideal.View Available Part Numbers For This Product Line
