      Ease of Installation
Overall, the parts you get in this kit fit well and seem to be very well made and finished. I'm very happy with that part. It was packaged and shipped securely and the instructions were well written and easy to follow. I wish the pictures were higher quality or bigger in the instructions.

The most difficult part was removing the bolts to lower the transfer case. They were hard to access, but that's not the fault of Zone.

In my opinion, this is an incomplete kit in a couple of ways, or at best, it's the start of a decent lift. To be happy, you'll want a few more components. My biggest complaint is that the rear axle is not centered in the wheel well after installation. It's at least an inch forward of center meaning that the space between front of tire to fender is two inches smaller than the space from rear of tire to fender. The only way to fix this is with longer upper and lower rear control arms for the rear axle. This kit does not have that and the only commercially available option is adjustable control arms which would be about $500 for a set.

Also, There's a significant enlargement of turning radius with these enormous front knuckles. I haven't measured for sure, but it's noticeable both in the maneuverability and in how far over you can turn the steering wheel.

As with almost all kits, you have to trim the frame mount on the drivers side rear cross member. But, I didn't like the fact that you also have to cut 3/8" off of the tie rods to accommodate the supplied tie rod ends. I don't know why they designed it this way. It was easy enough to do, but the less cutting, the better.

I'm very happy with the ride and handling, however, I also installed bilstein 5100s on the front, set to the highest lift adjustment. So, I omitted the 1/2" preload spacers. I think this improved the ride and gave me a good 7" lift in the front.

      Limited Lifetime Warranty

Zone Off-Road offers a limited lifetime warranty on all of their products including the suspension lift kits. This warranty is valid for as long as you own your vehicle. The warranty covers any defects in the materials or workmanship.

Even though we recommend having your new lift kit installed by a shop, that doesn't mean you couldn't do it yourself. Zone lift kits alter your suspension and may require tools that most people don't have lying around their garage. You should also have your vehicle aligned once your lift kit is installed. If you have any questions or would like additional information, please give us a call.
